Daniel Schmitz-Remberg

Daniel has been working as a strategy consultant since 2006. About a year later, he co-founded Accenture Sustainability Services. Since then, he has worked on numerous "green" topics across various industries in international projects along the entire value chain. However, most companies at the time were primarily focused on either trying to stop climate change or reporting on it.

Daniel increasingly recognized the growing economic and societal impacts of severe climate change and began to focus more on adaptation and its strategic relevance for businesses. As the issue gained importance and companies were seeking value-oriented support, he founded DSR & Partners as well as THE SHIFT Conference, the first corporate climate adaptation conference (which will be continued by Handelsblatt in 2025).
